Doomfist Nerfed Already

It’s been less than a week since Blizzard blessed the PTR with Talon’s leader, Doomfist. His moveset and agility are making him a fast favorite. While none of us here are part of the “master race” (yet), we’ve seen a fair amount of Doomfist gameplay to get us hype. However, PVPLIVE is reporting that Blizzard has already made balancing adjustments to Overwatch’s newest character. Doomfist’s Rocket Punch distance has been nerfed from 30 meters to approximately 21. While Blizzard has not officially stated they have buffed him, the buff is evident in the gif below provided by Reddit userĀ TanzNukeTerror.

The speculation is that the buff is to calm damn some of Doomfist’s maneuverability, as he was able to traverse the map, especially higher obstacles, fairly easily. It’s nice to see Blizzard taking steps to help ensure Doomfist is balanced before he’s released to the public. No word yet on his release date, but of course, when we find out, so will you.
